OpenAI begins hiring in Japan 🌊
OpenAI posted two new jobs right after our last blog with 110 new jobs on Monday.
What was interesting this time was that they were the first two open roles they have advertised to hire in Japan. At this stage they are simply go-to-market roles, but lets see in time if any R&D begins from them in this double-byte part of the world.

We Ultimate-ly say goodbye 👋
Berlin HQ customer support bot company Ultimate was acquired by Zendesk last month. The value of the acquisition was not disclosed.
You may have seen their open roles get posted in our newsletters, but we have stopped tracking new roles at Ultimate as they got acquired by Zendesk, who were previously public but are now owned by private equity.

I was a bit overwhelmed with where to categorise the following job that became available with the antedisciplinary team at biological software startup Inceptive.
Job Description: “Scaling the company that will impact everyone through biological software”
After needing to digest who they are looking to hire, I would say other companies would call this role a “People and Facilities Operations Manager”. So I put them in our first category. Inceptive has raised $100 Million to design new vaccines and therapies.
