Highlight of the Newsletter
I used to love the French house outfit, Cassius. Still do, but unfortunately, they’re not around these days as Philippe Zdar passed away in 2019 (RIP ❤️). Arguably their most famous song is Sound of Violence.
His sidekick Boombass decided to kick on with a new EP which was finally released last week called WWWIPE OUT.
What was interesting about the release is how Boombass & his brother created a video clip for one of the tracks using Artificial Intelligence.
“With my brother we've been geeky since we were little: from repairing Action Joe to dismantling our father's equipment, from sticky latex prostheses to the VHS camera. And in September 2022, he fell in love with AI animation. After receiving truckloads of images on my phone, I offered to illustrate PPPARADISE”
Being “homemade” the results are incredible considering what resources creating this would have taken not long ago.
