Altman details what happened in OpenAI ouster
Sam Altman was ousted and came back as CEO in November. Yesterday on Lex Friedman’s podcast he went through some of his experiences over that weekend.
The whole interview goes for about two hours. He alludes to the fact they have even more impressive things in the pipeline at OpenAI but does not give much away.
Mistral goes to San Francisco
French LLM provider Mistral has started to hire staff in San Francisco. This takes their operations across the Atlantic to the heart of the AI boom.
It’s the first time we have picked up a role that they have tried to hire in the United States. A GPU programming Expert position was posted over the weekend. To date all of their staff have been in London and Paris.
